Registration is now open for the PowerAlps seminar, co-organised with GDR Seeds

The PowerAlps project, launched to structure an interdisciplinary community around power electronics, is nearing the end of its first funding cycle. To mark this milestone, two days of exchange and promotion are being organised in Grenoble on 9 and 10 September 2025, in collaboration with the Groupement de Recherche -Systèmes d’Énergie Électrique dans leurs Dimensions Societales. 

The first day will be open to a wide audience and will include a plenary session with a keynote speaker, a presentation of the scientific results and deliverables of the project, a presentation of the White Paper written by the CREG, and a round table bringing together experts from industry, academia and journalism. The aim is to get stakeholders talking about the major scientific, economic and political issues involved in innovation in this field.

The second day will be more technical, co-organised and co-hosted by PowerAlps and the GDR Seeds Working Group, and will be devoted to thematic parallel sessions.
